About Us

Replicate Retina was developed in 2010 – our initial idea came after speaking to a local optometrist who needed his retina images protecting and backing up off site.  We developed our approach from there, learning about the different retinal imaging, practice management and other systems optometrists and dispensing opticians use.  Replicate Retina is now used by practices of all sizes across the UK.


Our People

Chris Robinson – Sales & Technical Director

Chris initially trained as a systems analyst before moving into the world of IT sales & consultancy.  He has more than 20 years’ experience working with blue chip clients around the world, both on and off site, including a 2 year stint working in the USA and South America.  He is the main contact point for our customers who have technical or sales queries.

Tracy Barlow – Commercial Director

Tracy has worked in the field of marketing communications for many years.  As a Chartered Marketer, she worked for major blue chip companies before running her own successful marketing & PR consultancy for 11 years.  Tracy also provided business mentoring services to The Prince’s Trust for 10 years.  She is the main contact point for financial and customer support queries.


Replicate Retina Tech Team

Replicate Retina has 3 tiers of technical support – front line techies (those are our customer-facing tech team); back end techies (they do magic but don’t usually deal direct with customers) and the data centre support team.
